PostSubject: Brukwerian Empire (TBE) News and Abouts   Thu Dec 22, 2011 10:12 pm

The Brukweyrian Empire is a result of the Arkissus Treaty of 1077. This treaty permanently allied the Königreich von Brukreich and the Kingdom of Elsweyr resulting in the twin empire known as Brukweyr. The Brukweyrian Empire is currently the super power of the server with a mass military and a financial power to back it up. We are deeply involved with politics and pvp. If you want some action the Empire is where you need to come. We have active laws (rules within the Empire that are separate from the servers rules but some of our laws are the same) that the guards (our law enforcement) will enforce. If you are caught breaking any of these laws within our borders you'll be issued a fine and/or killed and stolen from a few times. That was just a little about the Empire and what we do, but there's a ton more to talk about!

HISTORY:

POLITICS: The current government type of the Empire is a Monarchy/Feudalism mix. There are two Emperors and a group of nobles that vote on the decisions of the Empire.

Local Government type by town:

Augusta: Aristocracy

Albenheart: Feudal

Demonheim: Constitutional Monarchy

Ultan: Democracy

Zeal: Totalitarianism

Ornsvik: Oligarchy

Galadhon: Democracy

Masyaf: Constitutional Monarchy

Other towns will be listed with their government type later

The Nobles of the Empire are sorted by certain government rankings. These rankings are:

Emperor- Enfourvie, Zessus

Duke- 50+ in town (Marshal military rank)

Earl- 30+ in town (Knight-captain)

Baron- 20+ in town (Knight-captain)

Carl- Appointed by above. (given an outpost plot to build a fort on)

Current list of nobles by nation:

Königreich von Brukreich:

Kaiser: Zessus von Brukreich

Duke: DrArticuno von Aitis-Magni, Red966 von Kragspire, Winky von Demonheim

Earl: Hammerup von Sygneel,

Baron: BIGFAIRY von Riften, Ombar69 von New Validus

Carl: Cryght von Kragspire

Kingdom of Elsweyr:

King: Enfourvie of Elsweyr

Duke: Gamegeared of Totenstein, Jerrycoe of Masyaf, Zaven of Galadhon

Duchess: Narafalquan of Albenheart

Earl: ZechsMerquese of Castellum Impunitas, EagleEye

Baron: Zaiyac of Zeal

Carl: Krongarth of Albenheart

Our current diplomatic standings are:

At War:

Neutral: Town of Ipswich, Town of Aequitas, Town of Nowar, town of Tempest.

Allies:

By expense of the Empire's military we are paying anyone that is currently under tier 3 that joins the military a salary to train and level up and we'll even help you level

Anything public worthy that is needed to be known by the public will be posted here on this forum so check back for updates on stuff.

If anyone that owns a town would like to join the Empire or even just conduct trade or has any questions or input please do make the post on here and either I or Enfourvie or one of the nobles will reply back. We hope you Enjoy your Minescape experiences

-Kaiser Zessus von Das Königreich von Brukreich

Oh is THAT why it's doing so well lol. Those are just local government of how the towns do their thing. It's like everyone is independent but as an Empire acts as a whole. You haven't even seen how we work and we've pretty much taken over the server. Not to mention you're actually IN the Empire lmao (Sygneel is part of the Empire). Please don't talk bad about it unless you've actually worked around with us enough to know about us. The only government that really rules is the feudal which is the overall government and all those local government types are REAL government types if you haven't heard of them look them up.

With an empire as large as ours, think of us as china pre industrial revolution.....Acutally, go back to the romance of the Three Kingdoms. Each emperor had control over several territories, allowing them to govern themselves, although they had the final say in what went on in their kingdom. The military and economical system were all standardized as we have done. So you tell me how such a diverse government infrastructure in one empire can work......Seemed to work for Cao Cao as he demolished anyone who got in his way while he was on his quest to rule all of china.......(by the way, the journey was not one of pleasure, many men died and he betrayed his own in order to do so)

Zessus when you can get around to it, Put my town as a Democracy. I will think of town positions the towns people can vote/run for.

Updated and changed a few government types on the towns. Also I added Galadhon as a democracy as requested by Grandmarshal Zaven.

Yes because that ended so well Smile
And Zessus there's no need to be so mad, just thought I'd give my opinion of how well the empire would work in a realistic setting. I know I'm a part of it but that doesn't make me not entitled to voicing an opinion! Of course it's not such a big deal in a game but I thought the point of a RPG was to role play...
