Something i need help with

Hello cav, i am beginning to become knowledgable with programming, pretty much only just starting out i know a fair bit about c++ and soon i hope to figure out how to integrate into Java, It would be great if you could help me if you know anything about java and inparticular minecraft modding etc, once i learn i can help and hopefully make some mods for Minescape!

So far i have learnt about the history of programming, a few data values such as integers, char, void, boolbeans, and a few more, currently im working on strings and i will probably be able to make a first fully functional program with Graphics and animations, i know a little bit about minecraft modding aswell, but not too much.

i am rambling on because within the next couple of months i hope to become a wiseman in the art of programming and wish to help and get practice via minescapeRpg.

Heh, I'm not too skilled with Java, myself.
I've been working away at it, but I leave most of the coding to the Coding Team and half the Development Team ^.^

To be honest, you'll probably need a bit more experience than that to be able to work with Minecraft plugins.
I don't know much of the terminology, to be honest...everyone knows what my memory is like...but it takes a bit more than a few variable signs :/

Haha, but as i said i am determined, as i want to do this for a career when i am older :p

best way to learn java is to just pick up a book or to so you learn the basics and terminology and then start looking at other bits of code to decipher how it works. now maybe my brother is just clever or something but he taught himself enough coding to make a puzzle platformer in 48 hours for Ludum Dare. so it cant be too hard to pick up and learn.... that said hes also better than some coders ive met at college but who knows, they could be idiots.

edit i just re read this - to clarify he did not teach himself java in 48 hours , he taught himself it over the last 2-3 years. The game he made in 48 hours (minus about 4 for sleep)
