mods that make skills useless...

i have been noticing some people are using client mods that make skills like sneak useless...

He means minimap

I have Zan's Minimap and I have never been able to get the entity or player tracked working in anything, but single player where it works beautifully so I am skeptical about the map being the cause. I can say people do use hacks on the server though. While I can't prove it, yet, it is a bit of a problem. I love my map though. It tracks where I died, I can create waypoints to list where cities are, I can get a bird's eye view of the immediate area without making ugly 1x1 towers, etc. It's a useful tool for getting around and don't think it deserves full blame as the source of cheaters or hackers.

If you could record a video or take screenshots of people using these mods then the admin(s) could take appropriate measures (and by admins I mean Cav -.- )

The problem is that I can't screenshot someone speed hacking across the surface of the water. Especially if I am in the middle of a fight. Nor could I hope to run fraps quickly enough. I just keep a personal list of those I catch hacking in case I one day get the opportunity to prove it. Listing names without proof would just cause drama though so no point in doing that.

You could kepp traps running while you play. The only impact I have sewn on performance is when it is actually running. One keystroke away from rolling at all times
