| I know that no griefing is the rule, but without an anti griefing plugin, it's kind of hard to enforce that.
Someone has been continuously griefing a town members house, and neither you nor I have no way of telling who is doing it.

| I agree with this.
I just got on a few minutes ago to see my house was griefed and in total ruin. i dont know who it was but they did a damn good job of pissing me off.
I got screenshots of my house, but i dont know where to find them unfortunatly
We really need an anti-grief mod. no buts about it

| The issue with an anti-grief mod...is that you're allowed to break small holes into things. As long as you can repair it in 10 seconds, it's allowed.
But I see where you guys are coming from. Best I can do is make Guest classes not be able to break blocks. Makes sense, aye? Other than that...I'll see if I can find a way that won't lag the server too much.

| I'm talking about something like Log Block. Features: Logging for block placing, block braking, fire, explosions, leaves decay, signtexts, lava flow and chest content Very mighty commands system, not only allowing to rollback and redo, but also to tp to blockchanges, delete log ingame etc. Full list of commands. Many parameters for lookup/rollback/redo/tp/clearlog commands: Block changes of one ore more player, in a specific area, in a world edit selection, specific block types only, block changes older or newer that a specific date, destroyed/created block only, in a different world and combinations of all these parameters. Full list of parameters. Rebuilding map after importing a backup (/lb redo) Last parameter to use the parameters of the last command Quick ingame lookup of block history a wood pickaxe or a bedrock block. All commands accessible from console (exept tools ) Custom queries for tools. Different tool modes (lookup, rollback, redo, writelogfile and clearlog) Saves block data like wool color, log type, torch adjustment, etc Multiworld and multiserver support (some servers sharing the same database) BigBrother log import Loggable super pickaxe plugin (not to confuse with WorldEdit's super pickaxe) API Webstats | |

2 issues that may occur with this, though: 1) It might require a MySQL database...and I'm still trying to figure that out. It's a pain (Though I really do need one). 2) It will probably increase lag, since it's writing to files more often... But I'll fiddle with it and see what I can come up with. It IS a good plugin. I've used it before.

| The only problem with this is the fact that the server already lags like crazy so a plugin that has to keep track of every block will definitely increase lag. Other than that I totally agree with this. | |
