Caernarvon was borne of the old Ralas nation, many leagues west of Ralston, the ancient capital. As the only remnant of the Nation of Ralas, Caernarvon quietly guards the lands of the west: from the lands of the Lobotomized Eunuchs of Demonheim, to the the domain of the proud and noble peoples of Totenheim and from the war scarred ruins of Ralston to the abandoned settlement at Mowfrow.
The rise and fall of Ralas and Mad Lord KirvinIn the last days of Ralston, Mad Lord Kirvin was steadily losing his mind to bloodlust and possibly syphilis. Sensing the end, a Noble known as Dionnsai quietly gathered the necessary supplies and funding and set off to the west to found Caernarvon in lands outside the reach of the coming conflagration.
And come it did. In a fit of insanity, Lord Kirvin launched an all out assault on the Simpletons of the East, razing homes and slaughtering even the weak and innocent. Many died, towns and nations fell as the plebians fled their homes for safer lands. But in the midst of the chaos, great eyes took notice of Kirvin and the chaos he had brought on the world. Powerful wizardry was performed, and Mad Lord Kirvin was forever banished from the world.
The age of GwyneddDionnsai, as the only successor to the throne of Ralas, quickly siezed the crown and immediately declared the war at an end. Caernarvon was declared the Capital, and the nation was renamed Gwynedd in an attempt to remove any reminders of the past. Old grudges remained, and the citizens of Ralston were raided repeatedly. In the end, Mayor Pro Tem Sahath of Ralston disbanded the city, and the remaining citizens fled to new lands to the southwest. The city of Mowfrow in the far west of Gwynedd/Ralas soon disbanded as well, incorporating their citizenship into the city of Caernarvon itself. Seeing that only one city remained, Dionnsai disbanded the nation, forever erasing the last legacy of Mad Lord Kirvin from existance.
The Nomad ConflictAs time passed, and Caernarvon grew in strength, her soldiers began to seek battle in support of the Eastern Nation: The Terran League. A clan of ferocious Nomads had been making successful incursions into the Capital of the League, Validus Arcis terrorizing their members and causing great havoc. Seeing the opportunity to join in combat, a few soldiers of Caernarvon set off to to join in glourious battle against the Nomads.
A few nomads, angered at their new foe focused their attentions on Caernarvon, sending TutorialBike, one of their lesser minions to harrass and disrupt Caernarvon. TutorialBike was eventually defeated and sent home to lick his wounds. At the request of Commander Cyrus, Caernarvon briefly allied with The_Terran_League and made preparations to go to war against the Nomads. Caernarvon's trackers quickly located the bases of both the Nomads and their minion TutorialBike at Is-Vena. Shortly afterwards, the Nomads approached Cyrus and sued for peace, ending the conflict before full blown war had begun. Seeing the conflict at an end, Caernarvon withdrew from the alliance and resumed their solitary stance.
